The Roll-Check system is a major innovation in the management and reduction of pressure ulcers. It provides caregivers with technology to implement standard care protocols as individualized turn management care plans, providing better care and making more efficient use of staff resources.
How it works
The Roll-Check monitor tracks the movement of patients in bed to ensure that they shift position at regular intervals, and remain in the new position long enough to allow tissue re-oxygenation. If the patient fails to move within a programmable interval, has a liquid incontinence event or attempts to exit the bed, staff is immediately informed.
